Nidhogg (Korean: 니드호그 Nideuhogeu Nidhogg) is a Dark and Lightning-element dragon that can be obtained by redeeming Card Codes.
The Conquerer Form of Nidhogg can be obtained by opening a Nidhogg (Conquerer) Egg Box that comes from redeeming the code on a Volume 2 Dragon Egg Card, or combining 50 Egg Fragments from Volume 2 Treasure Chest Cards. This form cannot be obtained through breeding.
The Apocalypse Form of Nidhogg can be obtained by opening a Nidhogg (Apocalypse) Egg Box, which is very rarely awarded instead of a Conqueror Egg Box when redeeming a Dragon Egg Card code or at a 20% probability when combining Egg Fragments. The Apocalypse Form can alternatively be obtained by meeting certain breeding conditions. However, the Apocalyptic personality is exclusive to Nidhoggs that come from a Nidhogg (Apocalypse) Egg Box. Any Nidhoggs from breeding that are not of the Apocalypse Form will instead be of the Default Form.

Kuzmara will refuse to breed with Nidhogg, as it resents Nidhogg for swallowing the birth star of both Talissah and Kuzmara.
When breeding a Nidhogg, there is a low probability that the offspring will be of the Apocalypse Form. However, the rate can be increased with the following pairings:
Nidhogg + Ragnarok- Nidhogg + any Earth-element dragon
- Nidhogg + any Apocalyptic personality dragon*
All other Nidhogg obtained through breeding will be of the Default Form.
*Note: The Apocalyptic personality is exclusive to Generation 1 Apocalypse Form dragons from the Volume 2 Card Code set.

It needed more power. In order to eat more, it needed something appetizing and strong...
What Nidhogg needed was a star with strong life force.
The dragons had no choice but to watch as their star was destroyed by Nidhogg. The places where Nidhogg's curse fell became apocalyptic.
But there was a dragon that opposed Nidhogg.
"We can't afford to lose the star that is our source of life."
The dragon that fought against Nidhogg was Talissah. Talissah attacked Nidhogg with all its might. However, Nidhogg swallowed Talissah and converted it into its own power.
The dragon protecting the star faced Nidhogg's power of destruction and faced a crushing defeat.
